Awin claims 15,200+ advertisers and 211,000 publishers. FMTC is fully integrated with Awin. According to Crunchbase, Awin was founded in 2000 as Affiliate Window. Subsequently, it was merged with competitors zanox and Affilinet, then rebranded as Awin in 2017 to become perhaps the largest global network. Awin, part of the Axel Springer Group, also owns ShareASale and Commission Factory. Longtime CEO Mark Walters stepped down in January, 2021 and was succeeded by Adam Ross.
